How membership works.

Membership gives you access to departments, team projects, member-only activities and community spaces.

Membership fee

500 birr a month

Each payment covers 1 month, as approved by an administrator. It ends automatically; pay again to renew. Paying early adds the time on, so you never lose days.

    Create your account

    Register with your school or university details and confirm your email.

    Pay the fee

    Pay by telebirr or bank transfer to the club account shown on your membership page.

    Take a screenshot

    Capture the confirmation showing the amount, the date, the receiving account and the transaction number.

    Upload it in the portal

    Upload the screenshot on your membership page and enter the transaction number.

  5. 5

    Wait for admin approval

    An administrator checks the transfer by hand. You'll be notified when it's approved, and your membership runs for the months they approve.

Payments are verified by people, not automatically

The club does not currently use an online payment gateway. A screenshot alone is not proof of payment — every transfer is checked manually by an authorised administrator before a membership becomes active. Never share your banking passwords or PINs with anyone, including club staff.

What membership includes

  • Access to your department community and team projects
  • Member-only workshops, events and competitions
  • Eligibility for achievement certificates once you meet their requirements
  • Team chat spaces with moderation designed for student safety

What it does not include

Paying the fee does not earn certificates. Certificates are issued only when the achievement's requirements — attendance, tasks, assessments or project completion — are met and verified.
